Enjoyed this discussion of ”Crap Artist.” It’s a novel that I return to periodically, like Tartt’s ”Secret History” or Ruark’s ”Honey Badger.” I have a particular fondness for PKD’s ”mainstream” novels, as well as the SF ones. There is considerable literary overlap among them. I recently re-read ”Mary and the Giant,” after several decades. I’d forgotten what a mad wee corker Mary Anne Reynolds was. And everyone around her. Rather like ”Crap Artist” in that respect.
